Julia Dogoliatskaya molds by hand unique objects and compositions out of raw porcelain paste and she creates author's painting over the ready porcelain forms.
The hand molded objects are covered usually by the transparent glaze and decorated after the first baking by overglaze paints. Several molded forms are remained without the glazing that means they are created as biscuit with accented form and facture of material. Sometimes the biscuit technique and local overglaze painting are combined in the one the same piece.
Cobalt and preparations of gold, platinum and other precious metals are also applied to the painting. Cobalt and transparent glaze are burnt at the temperature 1200° - 1480° С. The overglaze paints and preparations of metals are burnt at temperature 720°– 830° C.
Each of porcelain pieces is burnt several times in the process of painting, because the diverse paints need various temperature of the burning. Besides, some paints should be burned successively one by one. There are used for the painting the feathers for thin lines and also the brushes of diverse sizes and forms.
