“All my works – whether they be on paper, wood, or porcelain – are decorative and graphic arts as well. By saying “decorative art” I mean the works, which hold depiction on the plane, and which bring the positive emotions due to the beauty of their formal composition.

I consider as most important and interesting task the depiction of world as a reflection and image of Paradise garden.

A characteristic example in this respect is the porcelain plate A landscape painter. The artist portraying there is a man, who looks for the features of eternal harmony of Paradise garden in the beauty of surrounding him world and who tries to show them for a viewer. Of no less interest for me is the task to combine in one work the depiction of the same motive and its reflections in different ways. That allows showing the variety both of the surrounding us beauty and of the individual views on it. To the aforesaid I can only add, that my preference of depicting vessels has been influenced by my many year experience as a porcelain artist. I feel service and even still life as a theatrical performance, where the tee and coffee cups are playing main roles”.
